All of our olive trees (Olea europaea) are hardy in the UK. They prefer free draining soil and a sunny position. They will tolerate salt and wind. Although mainly found in Mediterranean climes. Olive trees are much hardier than many people think. Most of them live on the side of a mountain, so as previously mentioned, they are well suited to the UK. All of our trees will produce olives in the summer, but they may not ripen completely unless we have an extended hot period.
Perfect for the terrace, or small garden, we supply olive trees in several different forms to suit all tastes - i.e. 'cloud pruned' (see the pictures above) as a standard tree, or as a superb bushy specimen to create all year round interest. Don't forget they are Evergreen!
