Aesculus x carnea Briotti (Red Horse Chestnut)

The red candled horse chestnut. Much more resistant to disease and a smaller form than above. This tree still produces the much loved conkers, but has bright red panicles of flowers in early summer.

A fast growing tree tolerant of almost any soil and environment. Can be used on difficult planting areas and valued for it's flexibility.
